Support the Hoboken Public Library

Dear Editor:
If you like a great party and want to support the Hoboken Public Library, we have the event for you! The Friends of the Hoboken Public Library invite you to join us for Novella Night, an evening of fun cocktail parties, with delicious food and drink, which will be held in homes around Hoboken on Saturday, October 19.
Hoboken’s Public Library is an architectural as well as a cultural treasure. Built in 1897, it is one of the oldest libraries in New Jersey. This historically significant structure has undergone some restoration and expansion work in recent years (for instance, the addition of the elevator wing), but important building upgrades remain to be done. Proceeds of this year’s Novella Night will go toward the purchase of a new front door for our library, one that reflects the building’s architectural style.
Tickets are $75/person and can be ordered through the Friends’ website—www.hobokenfol.org/novelnight.html; payment made be made by check or PayPal.
If you can’t attend a party, you can still contribute! Pick up a brochure with information about the door at the Library’s front desk or go to our website—www.hobokenfol.org/NewDoor.html.

Thank you in advance for supporting the Hoboken Public Library!
