As expected, Democrats sweep local legislative races

HUDSON COUNTY — In heavily Democratic Hudson County, it’s usually a foregone conclusion that the Democrats will win the state Senate seat and two Assembly seats in each district.
Early results at the county election site show Sen. Sandra Cunningham re-elected in the 31st District, Sen. Nicholas Sacco in the 32nd and Brian Stack in the 33rd.
