Funeral services took place Nov. 20 for Daniel F. Geiss, 85, of Jackson. He died peacefully Nov.16 at Centra-State Medical Center, Freehold. He was born and resided in Jersey City, before moving to Jackson 16 years ago. He was a retired lieutenant for the Hudson County Sherriff’s Office. He loved his family and all that life had to offer. He was an avid New York Giants fan, who worshipped Frank Sinatra. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Gerald, Fred, and Robert, and his daughter-in-law, Debbie Good. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy, a son, Danny, two daughters, Kathy (Carmine) Fox-Priore, and Cheryl (Thomas) Fogu, his brother, Joseph (Vincenza), the proudest grandfather of three grandchildren, George (Danielle) Gallagher, Vanessa (Michael) Fox-Bino, and Matthew Fox, and four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Addison, Jake, and Nathaniel.
