Temperatures rising for weekend

HUDSON COUNTY – The sign said it all on Wednesday, Jan. 8 in front of Bayonne City Hall, where temperatures hit 25 degrees, actually a relief for residents after two days of single-digit readings. Weather forecasters expect the thermometer to climb over 50 degrees before the end of the weekend. They also predict heavy rain for Saturday evening. –Joseph Passantino
