A funeral mass was offered Dec. 23 at The Church of Our Lady of Grace in Hoboken for Frank L. Russo, 88, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away Dec. 20 at St. Patrick’s Health Center in the Bronx. Mr. Russo was a United States Army veteran and a retired baker for Hostess Bakery, formerly of Hoboken for some 46 years. He was a member of the St. Lucy Society, the Elks Lodge, and the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his sisters, Sister Virginia Russo O. CARM, Lucia Palestroni, and Phyllis Russo, and a host of nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Filomena, two brothers Peter and Antonio, and three sisters Virginia Romstedt, Ann Hullin, and only six weeks ago, Sister Xavier Russo O. CARM.
