A funeral mass was held Jan.10 at St Nicholas RC Church Jersey City for Vincenzo Baratta of Jersey City. He died peacefully on Jan. 6. Vincenzo was born in Italy and resided in Jersey City for over 50 years. He was a medic in the Italian Army during and after WW II. Vincenzo was a fork- lift operator for Shoe Taylor Company in Jersey City. Husband of Giovannina Baratta; stepfather of Pasquale Apolito; brother of Filomena Orrico. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Services arranged by the Houghton Funeral Home, Jersey City.
