Congressman Payne makes visit to Bayonne Council meeting

BAYONNE – U.S. Representative Donald Payne Jr. (D-10th) spoke at the Bayonne City Council meeting on Wednesday, March 19, to push President Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
Payne briefly addressed the five-member board.
“I know the Affordable Care Act is one issue we’re discussing, and continue to work through,” he said. “It’s continuing to evolve. We continue to work toward making it right.”
Payne brought his “mobile office,” a table stationed by the front entrance to the Dorothy E. Harrington Council Chambers, with staffers available to help residents with questions about how to sign up for health care coverage. –Joseph Passantino
