A funeral mass was offered March 29 at Our Lady of Grace Church for Carolyn Lanzo, 71 of Hoboken. She passed away March 25 at Hoboken University Hospital. Born in Jersey City, she lived most of her life in Hoboken. She was a retired 3rd grade math teacher, having taught at St. Francis and Sacred Heart in Hoboken. She also worked as a bookkeeper with CTX Lamby for 18 years. As an active member of her community, she was a past president of the Columbiate Council 159 for four years. She was predeceased by her parents John and Vitoria Cherico. She is survived by her husband, Vito Lanzo, her sister, Denise Cherico-Little, her nephews; Joseph Lanzo, Damon Cherico and niece Michelle Lanzo-Boyer. Services arranged by the Earl F.
