Weehawken Peer Leaders raise money for charity

Peer Leadership students at Weehawken High School were recently presented with a $1,000 check for participating in Optimum Power to Learn’s Charity Champion program. It encourages high schools to raise funds for a charity of their choice. The check was donated to the Special Olympics of New Jersey. Mayor Richard Turner also participated in the event.
