To the Editor:
I don’t know what town Marie Maggio has been looking at all winter, but it could not have been here in Bayonne. She is commending Mark Smith for the great job in removing the snow and ice.
She claims that, “the streets were quickly cleaned and made safe for all Bayonne citizens.”
She may not be surprised, but I sure am. I am surprised that anyone would write those words, especially after looking around this town. If the sun never came out we would still have very high mountains of snow. Maybe the mayor does care about the seniors and that is because they are the people who he caters to so he can get the vote. That is right Mr. Mayor, feed them some hot meal, throw them a few cookies and you think you got their vote.
I think Ms. Maggio needs to get a better pair of glasses.
