Neither rain nor wind could stop people from coming and having a good time at the Filipino Society’s sold-out Benefit Dinner and Show at the Secaucus Senior Center on Saturday, March 29.
In addition to enjoying a show directed by Ruben and Myrna Cordova, the attendees gave generously to the typhoon rehabilitation donation box. All proceeds from the event will be sent to charities in the Philippines for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the economy, lives, and livelihoods of people and communities affected by Typhoon Haiyan.
The society’s organizers of the event expressed their gratitude for support to Mayor Michael Gonnelli, Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto, Lisa Snedeker and her staff, Cathy Wolf and the volunteers of Wrap-4-A-Smile Foundation, Adriana Napolitano (soloist), Janet Xiang, Fina Araullo, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Olive Garden, Toscana Cheese, Walmart, White Toque, Inc., and the Philippine Consulate.
