PICCOLO’S falls to FIRE DEPT. 7-4

TROY REYNOLDS both hit and pitched well for PICCOLO’S, but it wasn’t enough as PICCOLO’S fell to FIRE DEPT. TROY racked up three RBIs on two hits for PICCOLO’S. VICTORIA BRAVO was solid at the plate for FIRE DEPT. VICTORIA went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. FIRE DEPT. got the win thanks in large part to JACOB WRIGHT‘s dominant, nine-strikeout performance. JACOB allowed no earned runs on five hits and two walks over 5 +1/3 innings.

DANNY HANSON hits and pitches MAS DEMOLITION to 14-6 victory

DANNY HANSON powered MAS DEMOLITION at the plate and on the rubber Saturday. DANNY was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. MAS DEMOLITION managed just three hits off of Hanson, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out nine during his 4 1/3 innings of work. Eli Blumenfeld racked up three RBIs on one hit for MAS DEMOLITION. He tripled in the second inning.

CHIRICHELLA BOYS gets 13 strikeouts from RYAN BURKE, win 8-0 over STAN’S

On Sunday April 27, RYAN BURKE threw a shutout to lift CHIRICHELLA BOYS to an 8-0 win over STAN’S at Hoboken in six innings. RYAN’s 13 strikeouts were enough to push CHIRICHELLA BOYS past STAN’S. CHIRICHELLA BOYS’ pitcher gave up just one hit over six shutout innings. BRANDON LUI took the loss for STAN’S. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked seven and struck out four.

ELKS take out MAS DEMOLITION with help from ANTHONY PERRENOD, 6-1

ANTHONY PERRENOD went 2-3 on Thursday May 1, helping ELKS to a 6-1 victory over MAS DEMOLITION at Hoboken. THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA had an impressive outing against MAS DEMOLITION’s lineup. MAS DEMOLITION managed just one hit off of the ELKS’ pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out 10 during his five innings of work.

MARIO’S PIZZA outlast FIRE DEPT. in high-scoring affair, 10-9

MARIO’S PIZZA’s HUDSON PORADA showed his talents on both sides of the diamond on Thursday May 1 with a strong game on the mound and at the plate. HUDSON put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for MARIO’S PIZZA. MARIO’S PIZZA scored on an RBI single by ELI BLUMENFELD off JACOB WRIGHT, plating HUDSON. The top of the first saw MARIO’S PIZZA take an early lead, 3-0. MARIO’S PIZZA’s rally started when ANDREW WHOLF singled. A few plays later, HUDSON stole home. More runs came home for MARIO’S PIZZA when WHOLF scored on a fielder’s choice and an RBI single by BENJAMIN HOFBAUER. FIRE DEPT. quickly matched MARIO’S PIZZA’s strong inning with a two-run inning of its own in the second. FIRE DEPT. scored on a bases loaded walk and a fielder’s choice. It didn’t take long for FIRE DEPT. to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the third. FIRE DEPT. scored on a two-run double by JOSEPH PICINICH. The lead was MARIO’S PIZZA’s to lose after sixth inning. More runs came home on a double by HUDSON, two singles, and an RBI triple by WHOLF.

Sixth-inning rally sparks blowout win for RUSSO’S, 12-3

RUSSO’S took down POLICE DEPT. 12-3 on Friday May 2 at Hoboken after slamming POLICE DEPT. with eight runs in the sixth inning. RUSSO’S scored in the sixth on An error, a two-run single by KERRY NEVILLE, a walk by MATTHEW HARASACK, an error, a bases loaded walk by JAE COTO, a walk by GAGE LUCKEN, and a walk by ROBERT BROCKMAN. The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with four lead changes. RUSSO’S finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fifth inning. RUSSO’S scored on a two-run single by ZACHARY GUIDO off JACOB JARRETT, plating MICHAEL EFFINGER and KERRY. A two-run single by ZACHARY scored MICHAEL E and KERRY to give RUSSO’S the lead for good

ANTHONY CUOZZO leads PICCOLO’S to 18-3 victory

ANTHONY CUOZZO powered PICCOLO’S at the plate and on the bump on Saturday May 3, willing PICCOLO’S to a 18-3 victory over STAN’S. ANTHONY racked up four RBIs on three hits for PICCOLO’S. The biggest inning for PICCOLO’S was the second. In the inning PICCOLO’S scored 16 runs. PICCOLO’S scored in the second on An RBI single by CUOZZO, an RBI single by ZACH OSWALD, an error, a walk by JAYSON LOMBARDO, a walk by CHRISTOPHER GUZMAN, a two-run double by BRANDON JURADO, an RBI single by LOMBARDO, an RBI single by GUZMAN, and a two-run single by ANTHONY C. ZACHARY RUBIN got on base two times in the game for STAN’S.
