Funeral mass took place May 2 at the dePaul Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy RCC, Jersey City, for Ann DeMario, 84. She died April 26 at the Jersey City Medical Center. Born in Jersey City to the late Josephine and Dominick Figurelli, she worked as a lunch aide for the Jersey City school system. Prior to that, she worked at a local cigar store and at the Paris Bakery, both in Jersey City. Ann was an animal lover and advocate. She was the widow of the late Cosmo J. DeMario; mother of Ann Marie DeMario Cordero and Philip DeMario; grandmother of Alicia DeMario Pavone, Philip Blake DeMario and her great-grandchildren Lilly Grace and Alayna DeMario.
