To the Editor:
On June 1 my wife and I were travelling to Bayonne to catch a cruise to Bermuda. As we were crossing the Bayonne Bridge a box spring flew off a car and crashed through our windshield. After filing a police report we were waiting on Avenue A for a tow truck. Not being familiar with Bayonne we were not sure what to expect. Many people were so nice to us, asking if we needed help. One of Bayonne’s finest citizens is a man named Dan Campbell. He checked on us a few times, finally telling us to leave the key under the mat and he would take us to our ship. We made the cruise thanks to Mr. Campbell. He wouldn’t take anything for helping us. If you know Dan Campbell you probably know he is a good man.
