Julian Perez’ dramatic bunt in the last inning catapulted Kuhl’s to a 7-6 come-from-behind win over Borker’s Transmission in Little League Minor Division action. With Borker ahead 6-5 and Ryan Griffin representing the tying run on third, Perez’ laid down a near-perfect bunt. That brought Griffin home and Perez then circled the bases on an overthrow to to score the winning run. Borker took an early 5-0 lead, but Kuhl’s closed the gap with two runs in the third on RBI walks by Nicco Chiarvalotti and Griffen. In the fourth innings, walks by Josh Davis and Aiden Farley set the stage. Aiden Milachouski then singled them home and Aiden scored the tying run on Brad Deczynski’s clutch single. Joe Sims pitched two shutout innings for Borker’s, while his teammate Ryan Cotter also played well. Chiarvalotti was the winning pitcher, while Julian Perez provided Kuhl’s with some key help on the mound.
