A mass of Christian burial was celebrated June 14 at St. Joseph’s Church for Bernice A. Jordan, 67, of Jersey City. She passed away June 9 at Jersey City Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, Bernice was a lifelong Jersey City resident and longtime communicant of Saint Joseph’s Church. She was a bookkeeper and accountant for Liz Claiborne in Secaucus before retiring several years ago.
Bernice was predeceased by her sisters Eileen Jasinski, Florence Longacre, Rosemary Clemente and Helen Jordan. She is survived by two sisters, Josephine Weaver and Kathleen Zielinski and her husband John; 17 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
