Canadian tourists robbed in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY — Police are reportedly investigating a gun-point robbery that took place on June 21 on Christopher Columbus Drive at about 4 a.m. According to the reports, five tourists from Canada were walking back to the rooms at the Hyatt Hotel at Exchange place when two men approached them with handguns and told them to lie on the ground. The men fled with cash and jewelry valued at about $1,000. – Al Sullivan
