A funeral service took place July 16 at Calvary C.M.E. Church, Jersey City, for George Flowers, a resident of Jersey City since 1955. He passed away July 10. He was a butcher for the Anderson Meat Co., a member of Calvary C.M.E. Church. Husband of Daisy Bell Charlton Flowers, which this coming October 17th would have been 60 years of marriage. Father of David Lee Flowers, Aven Flowers, Frankie Thompson and the late Georgia F. Davidson. Grandfather of Damone Davidson, David Williams and the late Mataki Davidson. Great-grandfather of Nyjeema Wiliams and Brooklyn Davidson. Son of the late Douglas and Corrine Flowers. Brother of Warren Flowers, Rena Beckham and Eunice Grant. Also survived by a host of many relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
