All-around effort leads YOUNG DEMS past FIORE’S 10-0

An impressive two-way performance from ELIAS COLON led YOUNG DEMS to a 10-0 win Sunday over FIORE’S, as ELIAS came up huge at the dish and on the rubber. ELIAS boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace YOUNG DEMS. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings. ELIAS put together a nice outing. ELIAS held FIORE’S hitless over 4 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out 10.

ANTHONY CUOZZO hits and pitches PICCOLO’S to 12-2 victory
ANTHONY CUOZZO got on base three times in the game for PICCOLO’S. ANTHONY struck out nine, paving the way for a PICCOLO’S win. ANTHONY C allowed one earned run, three hits and four walks over 4 1/3 innings. Nine runs in the first three innings helped PICCOLO’S blow out STAN’S. A walk by ZACK OSWALD, a steal of home by ZACK, and a steal of home by CHRISTIAN CONTE in the first inning and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for PICCOLO’S. BRANDON LUI did his best to jumpstart the offense for STAN’S, reaching base two times. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the third inning. BRANDON ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked seven and struck out five.
ELKS top YOUNG DEMS behind ANTHONY PERRINOD’s 4 hits, 12-3
A great effort by ANTHONY PERRINOD led ELKS to a 12-3 win in six innings over YOUNG DEMS. ANTHONY racked up seven RBIs on four hits for ELKS. He homered in the third inning, singled in the first and fourth innings, and tripled in the fifth inning. ELKS blew out YOUNG DEMS thanks to eight hits, including three extra base hits. POLICE DEPT. defeats CHIRICHELLA BOYS after late game double, 5-4
POLICE DEPT. pulled out the win thanks to a strong eighth inning. POLICE DEPT. scored on a two-run double by NIAM GILYARD off MICHAEL D’ANTONIO, bringing home LUCA CONETTA and DOMINICK CHINCHILLA. A two-run double by NIAM scored LUCA and DOMINICK C to give POLICE DEPT. the lead for good. LUCA had two extra-base hits for POLICE DEPT. He doubled in the third and sixth innings and singled in the eighth inning. Despite the loss, CHIRICHELLA BOYS’ MATTHEW STEWART dominated POLICE DEPT.’s batters, giving up three runs and striking out six. DOMINICK C recorded the win for POLICE DEPT. He allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked four and surrendered three hits.

FIRE DEPT. jumps on CASSESA’S early and coasts to 10-4 win
FIRE DEPT. refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against CASSESA’S, recording a 10-4 victory An RBI single by MATTHEW POTTER, a two-run double by ANGEL SANABRIA, and a groundout by JOSEPH PICINICH during the first inning fueled FIRE DEPT.’s offense early. ANGEL racked up three RBIs on three hits for FIRE DEPT. JACOB WRIGHT got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over six innings. JACOB struck out five, walked two, and gave up six hits. CASSESA’S jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. CALVIN FLETT started the rally for CASSESA’S with a single. THEO INHULSEN singled, plating MAX SCHWEDE and ANTHONY.
MAS DEMOLITION defeats MARIO’S PIZZA 10-5
Thursday was a rough outing for DANNY HANSON, but MAS DEMOLITION still managed to pull out a 10-5 victory over MARIO’S PIZZA in six innings at Hoboken. DANNY let up five in 5 2/3, but the bullpen allowed no runs and the offense banged out five to help secure the win for MAS DEMOLITION. MAS DEMOLITION pulled out the win thanks to a strong fourth inning. MAS DEMOLITION went up for good on a two-run single by NATALIE LOBUE off SAWYER KRON, scoring MAXWELL KIRK and AIDEN LUBIN. It was a good day at the plate for MAS DEMOLITION’s DANNY. DANNY went 1-3 and scored three runs. He doubled in the first inning. MAS DEMOLITION went up for the duration of the game after the fourth inning. Additional runs came from a two-run double by KYLE VALENZUELA, an error, and a groundout by ROBERT AULD.
