Jersey City holds public meeting on coastal flooding

JERSEY CITY – Mayor Steven M. Fulop and the Division of Planning, in partnership with the Stevens Institute of Technology and Baker Engineering, will hold a public meeting on coastal flooding solutions from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 280 Grove St.
The purpose of the Public Meeting on Coastal Flooding Solutions is to provide residents with information on the impacts of coastal flooding, work completed to date, and potential adaptation measures. Exhibits will include renderings of proposed adaptation measures and mapping of storm surge experienced during Superstorm Sandy.
