JERSEY CITY — Eight people were reportedly rescued from a sinking fishing boat by the Jersey City Fire Marine Unit near Liberty State Park on Monday. The craft apparently hit rocks that are prevalent in shallow water near shore. The boat was safely towed the near by marina where passengers disembarked.
