Sal Gullace holds barbecue

Dozens of Bayonne residents enjoyed a day of food, fun, and fraternity when Second Ward Council Member Sal Gullace held a barbecue in Fitzpatrick Park on Saturday, Sept. 20. Gullace met with Second Ward constituents and other Bayonne residents to discuss their ideas and concerns in an informal setting. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and popcorn were available, as well as fun activities, like jumping aboard a Bayonne Fire Department rig. Former world middleweight boxing champion Vito Antuofermo even stopped by to say hello. “The event allowed the community to get together and have fun,” Gullace said. Councilman Gary La Pelusa’s civic association also held its annual event on Saturday.
