Funeral services took place Oct. 6 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Pastor Truman Smith of Jersey City. He passed away Oct. 2. He was the pastor of Little Rock Baptist Church in Jersey City. Father of Randell Smith and Truman Smith Jr. Brother of Niheem Shakur, Pastor Lenard Smith, Bernard and Connie Smith. Also survived by four grandchildren,1one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
