BAYONNE – Author Judith Valente, a Bayonne native who is Midwest correspondent for PBS-TV, will speak on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Parish in Bayonne, 4th Street and Broadway.
Her presentation will be “Contemplation in the Age of Twitter.”
Valente will address how people can become “everyday contemplatives” in a world filled with increasing demands and distractions. She will show how those with busy schedules can utilize the practice of listening to learn “the art of pausing.”
Valente’s presentation is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow the event.
