A funeral service took place Oct. 1 at the Heavenly Temple C.O.G.I.C., Jersey City, for Michele Marion, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She passed away on Sept. 24. She was the mother of Tiesha Marion, Lakeia Mixon (James), Krystal Marion, and Kristen Marion; grandmother of nine; daughter of the late Rosa B. Lewis; sister of Jacqueline Starkey, Myrtis Davis(Ernest), Patricia Lewis, Larry Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, and Darren Lewis; niece of Mary Lewis; and a whole host of other relatives and friends.
