PALIWODA LAURA A.

81, of Tinton Falls, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Paliwoda (nee Grasso) was born and raised in Bayonne. In later years she lived in Carolina Shores, North Carolina, before coming to Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls two years ago. She was a graduate of Bayonne High School and graduated from the Whitney School of Art and Traphagen School of Design. She worked as a secretary and teacher’s aide in Bayonne years ago, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bayonne Women’s Club. Mrs. Paliwoda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ted Paliwoda. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Ted, Jr. and Karen Paliwoda, of Berkeley Heights, William Paliwoda (Lt. Col., USAF, Ret.) of Asbury Park, and Denise and Michael Dillon, of Neptune. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kerri, Ryan, Katelyn, Megan, Christina, and Kyle Paliwoda, and Caroline and Jackson Dillon. She is survived by her sister, Marie Sczepkowski, of Little Egg Harbor, and her sister-in-law, Miriam Moody, of Cranford, as well as other relatives and friends.
