86, passed away on January 8, 2015. He was born and raised in Bayonne, had lived in Kearny for 20 years prior to moving to Whiting four months ago. He was a machine operator for Kraft Corrugated in Bayonne for over 35 years before retiring 40 years ago. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois (nee Lucas) Smolucha; his sons Thomas, Gene and his girlfriend Debbie Zieniuk and Florian Smolucha; grandchildren Nicole Smolucha and Jennifer McLaughlin; and great-grandchildren Madison and Samantha McLaughlin.
