DEBLASIS, ERNEST

A funeral mass was offered Jan. 12 at Holy Rosary Church for Ernest DeBlasis, 83 of Marlboro, formerly of West New York. He passed away Jan. 7 at Centra State, Freehold. Born in West New York to the late Arthur DeBlasis and Elizabeth, he lived there most of his life before moving to Marlboro some 14 years ago. He was the founder of E.D. Associates Architectural, of West New York, retiring in 2001. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1952-1954 and rising to the rank of corporal. He was predeceased by his wives Marie DeBlasis and Terri Balesterri. He was the father of Donna Malone and her husband Alexander, Lisa Adriaenssens and her husband Roger, his stepchildren, Amelia Fano and her husband Vincent, Nicholas Balesterri and his wife Ting Ting; grandfather of Ryan and Sean Malone, Adam Adriaenssens, Rev. Frank Fano, Vincent Fano and Nicholas Balesterri and great grandfather of Natalie and Vincent Fano. He is also survived by a brother, Arthur DeBlasis. Services arranged by the Introcaso Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
