To the Editor:
To our neighbors who come home after long shifts and shovel the snow for us – we thank you.
To our neighbors who shovel during late winter nights, gifting us with shoveled walks – we thank you.
To the gentleman passing in a pickup truck who stopped to shovel, we thank you.
These people cross our path asking nothing, anonymously extending compassion and kindness, we thank you.
Our words cannot express our heartfelt gratitude. And a very belated thank you to the person who returned the rented movie forgotten in a cart, so long ago in the A and P parking lot. You could have kept it but you did not. Thank you.
These people are true humanitarians. May God bless them always.
Thank you.
