Hudson Theatre Ensemble presents ‘Almost, Maine’

Romantic comedy by John Cariani opens April 10

Hudson Theatre Ensemble of Hoboken will present John Cariani’s “Almost, Maine,” a collection of vignettes about ordinary people in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways, beginning Friday April 10.
Although the people are ordinary, the magic and mystery of their loves are extraordinary. Poignant, funny, and smart, “Almost, Maine” is wonderfully whimsical as well as down-to- earth, and one of the most frequently-produced and well-attended plays of the past decade.
Performances begin April 10 at the Hudson School Performance Space, 601 Park Ave., Hoboken. The ground-floor theater is completely barrier-free and accessible to persons with disabilities.
Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for seniors and students. For reservations or information, call (201) 377-7014 or email reservations@hudsontheatreensemble.com.
Performances are scheduled for Fridays at 8 p.m., April 10 and April 17; Saturdays at 8 p.m. on April 11 and April 18; and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. on April 19.

This is a play to love—for its quirkiness and its unabashed romantic spirit.
“The Hudson Theatre Ensemble is such a treasure for Hoboken. You always put on such fantastic productions.” Geri Fallo, Director of Cultural Affairs for the City of Hoboken
