65, of Jackson passed away April 7, 2015. He was born in Bayonne before he moved to Jackson and worked for Bell Labs/AT&T for 35 years where he was awarded a patent, and later worked on design of fiber optic cable systems. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Sophie Brockman; and his mother-in-law, Catherine Barrett. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Margaret (Maggie); his son Robert C. Brockman IV; and daughter Laura A. Brockman. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Giblock and her husband, Gary; his brother, James Brockman and his wife, Lauren; his brothers-in-law Carl H. Becker III; and John Becker. He is survived by 10 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Melanoma Research Alliance at curemelanoma.org.
