Residents urged to still call pothole hotline

BAYONNE – Mayor James Davis is reminding and encouraging city residents to utilize the hotline established in early March to continue reporting potholes throughout the city.
“This is a program that was very successful during the early spring of this year. Reports indicate that nearly 8,000 potholes were filled by the city’s Department of Public Works,” Davis said. “Residents are the eyes and ears of our community, and the success of this program proves it.”
Individuals should call the pothole hotline, (201) 858-6099, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, to report an area in need of attention.
In the event a city employee is unable to field the call between those hours, callers are asked to leave a message indicating the nearest address to the pothole being reported.
