Former Hoboken school board member blogs on Forbes site about local charter school controversy

HOBOKEN – Hoboken has some opinionated school board members, and former board members. Former member Maureen Sullivan weighed in on an ongoing controversy on Friday in a blog on Forbes.com.
In Hoboken, which has three charter schools, school board members have chipped in their own money to fund a legal effort to blog one of the schools from expanding from sixth to eighth grade. They say the charters siphon money from the other public schools, and have a segregative effect on the district. Not everyone agrees, though.
What do you think? Take a look and join the fray.
