JAVELIN COMPETITOR – Bayonne resident and recent St. Dominic Academy graduate Shannon Hester will attend Loyola University in New Orleans as a cross country and the javelin athlete. She earned her second consecutive trip to nationals and improved by more than ten feet, throwing 102 feet. For the past two years, Hester was first in all-county for javelin and the 2015 St. Dominic Academy scholar athlete.
