Dear Editor:
We have lived in Highpoint Avenue for almost 50 years right across from the reservoir.
A while ago the reservoir was opened to the residents of Weehawken and Union City
My husband Francesco is in a wheelchair .We put him out on the porch in the mornings and early evenings.
Our neighbors pass by and also strangers and greet him. They go up to the reservoir and walk, these wonderful people stop and wave to him. This brings a big smile to Francesco’s face.
Thank you Mayor Richard Turner and Senator Brian Stack for bringing this ray of sunshine into his life.
