To the Editor:
I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, the citizens and business owners in my hometown, Bayonne New Jersey. On May 17, 2015, in Connecticut I was in an accident that took the life of my fiancée and soul mate, Karen Minutella. I was severely injured myself. It has been four months and after many surgeries, treatments, and some time to start to heal my wounds both, emotional and physical, I am ready to write and let you all know how much I appreciate all that was done for me. To my brother and sister Elks from Bayonne and afar who gave money, time, prayers, or messages for my wellbeing or on behalf of Karen, I thank you. To Bill Archiello, who provided free van service for those who attended Karen’s memorial, I thank you. To all the other businesses involved in the fundraiser the Elks held for me on Memorial Day, I thank you. To my friends, old and new, who made the visit to see me, write or call, I thank you, and to my daughter Megan Terriogo for braving the traffic and distance almost constantly, I thank you.
