93, passed away at home on October 28, 2015, with her family by her side. Kathleen was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, and lived there lifelong. She was a Nurse at Saint Francis Hospital in Jersey City, NJ and for the Lipton Tea Company in Hoboken, NJ. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Nurse, Second Lieutenant. She was a member of the Saint Andrew’s Rosary society. Wife of the late John E. Opel, Sr. Mother of John E. Opel, and the late William C. Opel and his living Wife Patricia (nee: Buckman). Grandmother of William and his Wife Christine, John and his Girlfriend Jacqueline, Mary Kate and the late Patrick Opel. Sister of Theresa Roth and the late James J. Carroll, Richard J. Carroll, Arthur J. Carroll, Constance Wasko, Rose Marie Vivo, Bernadine Lennon and Mary Lou Hamerle. She is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews. Funeral arrangements by G.
