Dear Editor:
On Tuesday, we have another critically important Hoboken election for City Council and school board. In previous weeks, I have written to express my support for Mike Defusco in the 1st Ward, Tiffanie Fisher in the 2nd Ward, Dana Wefer in the 4th Ward, Peter Cunningham in the 5th Ward and Jen Giattino in the 6th Ward.
In the school board election, an election of particular importance to me since my son Alex is a freshman at Hoboken High School (having graduated from Elysian Charter School last year), I have expressed my enthusiastic support for the Reach Higher slate of Tom Kluepfel, Sheillah Dallara and Addys Velez.
Local elections are often more important to our everyday lives than national elections, so please come out and vote!
