JERSEY CITY — Best-selling author Lisa Oz posed recently with her husband, Dr. Mehmet Oz, the cardiothoracic surgeon, author and TV personality, and Joseph Scott, President/CEO of Jersey City Medical Cente – a Barnabas Health, during the signing of her new book, “The Oz Family Kitchen.” Attendees at the Bistro were invited to tour Jersey City Medical Center’s new Women’s Health Center at Grove Street following the book signing. The new center, combining both traditional medicine with holistic and integrative care, includes imaging services (mammography, ultrasound, bone density, x-ray), holistic services (with integrative medicine, midwifery, postpartum doula, nutritional counseling, acupuncture and chiropractic) and traditional medical care (including plastic surgery, OB/gyn, rheumatology and endocrinology).
