Two Jersey City buildings sold for $229 million

A report by NJ Biz said Chambers Street Properties has agreed to sell 70 and 90 Hudson Street in Jersey City for $299 million.
This comes four years after the company purchased the office buildings from Hartz Mountain Industries.
Chambers Street said it expects to close the deal early in 2016. In another report, the mazine said that the New Jersey Ecomic Development Authority approved this week a $59-million 10-year Grow New Jersey grant for WeWork Companies to establish 101,000 square foot location at One Journal Square. This is expected to create 723 new full time jobs and bring back to the state about $63..2 in revenue over the next two decades.
