To the Editor:
Thank you to all of the residents of Bayonne who took the time to vote on November 3. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thank you, especially to those of you who voted for me to become a member of this elected school board. I very much appreciate your confidence in my ability and desire to do what is best for the city of Bayonne’s students, parents, and teachers. I look forward to working diligently along with my fellow trustees to promote an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. Working as a team we will be able to effect positive changes in board policies and procedures. However, there also needs to be a shared interest not only by board members but also by students, teachers and parents. I do encourage you to attend board meetings and become a vital part of the decision-making process. Finally, my mantra has been and will continue to be “keep politics out” of the decision-making process. Be assured that I will continue to be a voice for the students, parents, and teachers. Thank you once again for your vote!
