78, of Greenbriar Oceanaire, Waretown died on January 10 at home. Born in Bayonne, he lived there most of his life before moving to Kearney. He lived in Brick before settling in Waretown in 2002. An Air Force veteran, Mr. Brancati was a life insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance for many years, and later was a school bus driver for Murphy and Hartnett. He is survived by his companion, Ruth D’Alessio; two daughters, Joanne Brancati and Christine McNeil; his grandchildren, Casey, and Carly; his step children, John D’Alessio and his wife Sandee, Jill Antunes and her husband Jose, and Justin D’Alessio and his wife Mandi; and his step-granchildren, John, Brooke, Gia, and Tony.
