Born in the Dominican Republic, Maxima was an active parishioner at Assumption Church and a former Queen of The Hispanic-American Parade. Maxima was the mother to Brunilda Flores, Ana Hernandez (Mario) and Berkis Beddoe (Louis Jr.). She was also the grandmother to Maximo Hernandez (Alicia), Edward Hernandez, Elvis Flores, Cynthia Felix Orange (Robert), Yocasia Reyes, Willie Rios, Lisa Marie Felix (Johnnie), Octavio Hernandez, Louis Felix III and Nicholas Felix, as well as being great-grandmother to Edward, Celine, Kalie Marie, Madison, Marcus, Jayla, Juliana, Tatyana, Jaylene, Alexander and Imani.
