Private funeral services have been held for Kenneth J. Carey, 59, of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 20. Born in Jersey City, a graduate of Dickinson High School, Ken was employed as a forklift operator for Fautarom Ind. in North Bergen for many years and was a member of Teamsters Local 560.
Ken was the son of Anna V. (nee Toy) and the late James J. Carey. Husband of Dolores (nee McCoy) and father of Jenifer Lynn and James K. Carey. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alyssa, Aubrey, Cameron and Aiden and his sister Colleen Diven (Kevin), a brother James (Richard) and a niece and nephew. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
