101, passed away on January 20, 2016, with her loving family by her side. Phyllis was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Jersey City in 1925 and then to Bayonne in 1962, where she remained until her passing. She worked for Rayette in Jersey City for 10 years then went on to be a Park Supervisor for the Jersey City Parks and Recreation Department for 5 years. She was a member of the Saint Andrew’s Church – Andreans. Wife of the late Martin Candino. Mother of Richard Candino, and Raymond Candino and his wife Helene. Grandmother of Marc, Kevin, Jeffrey, Steven and Thomas Candino. Great-Grandmother of Andrew, Brianna, Whitney, Chelsea, Abigail and Jackson. Sister of Mildred Flego, Danny Bananzio, Thomas Bodanzio, Louise Hawk and Grace Grabowsky. She was predeceased by two sisters and five brothers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Friend of Patricia, Richard and their daughter, Caitlin.
