HUDSON COUNTY — A baby was delivered in a Hoboken resident’s home during the storm, the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels were closed, it snowed all day long, and trains and buses were stopped. The blizzard of 2016 brought more than a foot of snow to most of Hudson County all day Saturday, not to mention high winds. It was too dangerous to go far, but on Sunday, January 24, the sun shined and residents began to venture out again. A travel ban in Hoboken was lifted on Sunday at 7 a.m. Expect many businesses to open back up today. Also, look for your copy of the Hudson Reporter newspaper around town!
