BAYONNE – Weather permitting, the Bayonne Bridge will close this weekend from 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 through 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, to accommodate ongoing construction work on the “Raise the Roadway” project.
During the week, the bridge is closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and overnight from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. On certain weekdays the Bayonne Bridge will open at 4:30 a.m. to provide an alternate route for drivers affected by 4:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. traffic holds on the Goethals Bridge.
