86, a lifelong Bayonne resident, died February 9, 2016 at Bayonne Medical Center. The son of the late Josephine (Niedzialkowski) & Peter Zientek, he was a 1947 graduate of Bayonne Tech. In 1950, he married Rose Marie MacDonald at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Ted, a corporal and C.B.R. Specialist in the Korean War, was a 2007 recipient of the Korean War Distinguished Military Service Medal with a certificate of special recognition. Husband of the late Rose Marie MacDonald Zientek. Father of Sr. Lucy Zientek, C.D.P., Cathy Zientek., Linda Humphreys and her husband William, and the late Rosemary Zientek. Brother of Carole Kaczka and the late Edward Zientek. Also survived by one granddaughter and five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
