84, passed from this life at home on March 9, 2016. Born in Pittston, PA, she resided there until moving to Bayonne. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew in October 1982 and by her parents, Andrew and Anna (Sulack) McKitish and eight of her nine siblings, Alex, Michael, Stephen, George, John, Anna Kobi, Margaret Joseph, and Mary Wisniewski. She is survived by her sister, Helen Billack and many nieces, nephews, as well as her long time special friend, William Kataryniak. She was a communicant of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church and was actively involved in parish activities. Betty was employed as an administrative assistant for RCA in Edison, NJ then joined the team at Lightolier in Jersey City, NJ. She later joined China Overseas Shipping (Costco) in Secaucus as a receptionist. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 30 East 25th Street.
