A funeral service took place April 15 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hoboken, for Charles Davis “Charlie” Boyd Sr. of Hoboken. He passed away April 9. He was the husband of Alvenia Boyd; father of Charles Jr., Rodney, Tamaine, Justin and LaTeka Boyd; father-in law of Janelle Boyd; brother of Constance Cummings. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and many loving relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
